Rules for personal use and TIL Teams.

Accounts and security

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and notify us of suspected compromise. Do not bypass access controls, rate limits, assessment rules or platform security. We may disable access needed to protect users or the service.

TIL Teams authority

A manager creating a team confirms that they are authorized to act for the named organization, accepts the current Data Processing Addendum, and confirms that the organization has a lawful basis and has provided required transparency for employee assessment. Managers must assign and use results fairly and only for legitimate organizational learning purposes.

Subscription

TIL Teams is €19 per user per month excluding 21% VAT (€22.99 including VAT), with a five-user minimum, billed through the configured PayPal subscription plan. Managers and members occupy seats, and unexpired invitations reserve seats. Seat changes and cancellations take effect only after PayPal confirmation. Suspended subscriptions are read/export-only. Cancelled or expired teams enter a 30-day read/export/reactivation window before deletion.

Learning records

Course reading remains free. Starting a personal course and marking or unmarking lessons are explicit actions that save private progress to your account; simply viewing a page is not tracked. A course assignment completes only through its selected completion exam. Personal course progress and existing personal exam history are not imported into Teams. Do not submit another person’s work, manipulate results or misuse exports.

Educational content and AI assistance

Our courses, lessons, assessments, explanations, examples and illustrations may be created or assisted by artificial intelligence. We review and check published material and make reasonable efforts to avoid incorrect, incomplete or outdated information, but we cannot guarantee that every statement, source, answer key or question is error-free or current. Content is provided for general educational purposes and is not professional, legal, security, compliance or operational advice. Verify information against appropriate authoritative sources before relying on it for a decision, and contact us to report a suspected error.

Availability and liability

The service is provided subject to reasonable maintenance, security and provider availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law and an organization’s agreement, we are not responsible for indirect losses or employment decisions made from learning results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms with appropriate notice for material changes. You may stop using a personal account or cancel a team subscription. Security, payment, misuse or legal requirements may justify suspension. Data handling after termination follows the privacy notice and DPA.
