We asked it to help, as we told it we had been hit by the Lockbit ransomware gang. It quickly understood the impact and it started to collect resources that can assist in threat hunting activities.

It explained which type of IP addresses have a reputation of being used in attacks, it also provided a list of tools, C2, filenames and commands the Lockbit ransomware gang might have used.

It listed down the TTPs and gave clear instructions on how the gang might have moved within the breached company network.

It ended by providing mitigation strategies and a list of all the sources it had used.

We want to make clear that in no situation this will replace the work an analyst can do, but this tool can sure be handy. Just remember not to share any confidential data as it will be used by OpenAI.
